Mental Health Support

Lyra

For associates enrolled in a medical plan, Lyra provides you and your enrolled family members with access to personalized, confidential mental health coaching and short-term therapy, at no cost to you. Associates get 12 free visits per eligible person each year. After 12 visits, family members enrolled in a medical plan through and can continue seeing the same Lyra coach or therapist, with these additional visits billed to the medical plan. You also have access to online tools and mental wellness support through the LyraHealth App. Sign up at lyrahealth.com, call 1- 877-206-4786, or download the app from the App Store or GooglePlay. Ovia Health

Available to Associates enrolled in a  medical plan, Ovia Health apps can be used for tracking your cycle, monitoring your pregnancy, and documenting your child’s growth and milestones through age three. To get started, download Ovia Fertility, Ovia Pregnancy, and Ovia Parenting from the AppStore or Google Play. During sign-up, choose “I have Ovia Health as a benefit.” Next, select BCBSIL as your health plan. To learn more, call 1-888-421-7781.

When you need to find a trusted caregiver for a child, an adult or even your pet, Care.com is your go-to resource as the world’s largest online community of vetted, caregiving professionals. We provide all Associates with free membership to Care.com so you can find the right provider for your family. Visit care.com to activate your membership.

Physical Wellness

Livongo

If you’re enrolled in a medical plan and have been diagnosed with hypertension or Type I or Type II diabetes, Livongo programs help you manage your symptoms and health with tools and 1:1 support from experienced coaches. Learn more at www.livongo.com. Registration Code: BCBSIL-HEALTH.

Hinge Health

Available to Associates enrolled in a medical plan, Hing Health’s 12-week, coach-led digital musculoskeletal (MSK) program provides access to a care team, exercise therapy, and education for enrolled BCBS members experiencing chronic back, hip, or knew pain. Eligibility is determined through screening. Submit your screening questionnaire at hingehealth.com. If accepted, your  medical plan through BlueCross BlueShield will cover the program cost.

Well on Target

Well on Target offers tools and resources to Associates enrolled in a medical plan such as assessments and digital lessons to help BCBS members manage their health. Participants can earn points by completing activities that can be redeemed for rewards. Visit www.bcbsil.comand click on “Wellness” to get started.

Bright Start College Savings Plan

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

With the addition of a new child, you may want to take advantage of the tax-benefits offered through a Dependent Care FSA. Health Savings Account (HSA)

During Open Enrollment or in some cases if you experience a significant change in your life known as a Qualifying Life Event (QLE), Associates have the option to enroll in a HSA Plan, which is the medical plan option that comes with an HSA. You can fund your HAS with tax-free contributions automatically deducted from your paycheck. Am I Eligible For Leave Benefits Through My State?

Some states provide leave benefits that you may be entitled to. When you file a leave claim, Unum will let you know if you are eligible for any state benefits. If applicable, you’ll need to file a claim directly with your state. Company-provided leave benefits are generally offset by statutory benefits and run concurrently. You should review the Leaves of Absence and Other Time Off Policy for additional information.

How Does FMLA Interact with Leave Benefits?

The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave for a variety of circumstances. You’re eligible for FMLA if you have worked for at least 12 months and have worked 1,250 hours during the previous 12-month period. FMLA is taken concurrently with other types of leave. If you have exhausted FMLA or are not yet eligible for FMLA, you may be eligible for job protection through Supplemental Medical Leave.
